Evergreen Biodiesels

About Us

We are an Essex based company committed to producing high quality Biodiesel. In our production process we use the best products available on the Biodiesel market today to ensure that all our fuel is of the highest standard.  As a producer we put great emphasis upon quality –

All the fuel we produce meets the European EN14214 specification

Our fuel is made from rapeseed or soya oil so is 100% green and carbon neutral

Unlike a lot of other producers we “wash” our fuel

We are HM Customs & Revenue registered so all our fuel prices include duty and VAT

Our prices offer a substantial saving over fossil fuels.

Our aim is to contribute to the benefit of the environment with the reduction of greenhouse gases. Having identified that Biodiesel is the fuel of the future, our aim is to firmly establish the Company as a realistic alternative to fossil fuels.

What is Biodiesel?

Biodiesel is fuel made from renewable resources such as vegetable oils. It is biodegradable and non-toxic, and has significantly fewer emissions than petroleum-based diesel when burned. Biodiesel functions in current engines, and is a possible candidate to replace fossil fuels as the world's primary transport energy source.

With a flash point of 150°C, Biodiesel is classified as a non-flammable liquid. This property makes a vehicle fueled by pure Biodiesel far safer in an accident than one powered by petroleum diesel or the explosively combustible petrol. Precautions should be taken in very cold climates, where Biodiesel may gel at higher temperatures than petroleum diesel. New additives are becoming increasingly available to stop the clouding process during the sub zero temperatures

'Biodiesel can be distributed using today's infrastructure, and its use and production is increasing rapidly (especially in Europe, the United States, and Asia). Fuel stations are beginning to make Biodiesel available to consumers, and a growing number of transport fleets use it as an additive in their fuel.

Why Biodiesel?

Biodiesel has a complete environmental lifecycle so is therefore better for the environment than most other fuels. The lifecycle begins as the vegetable oil crop absorbs CO2 during growth, once harvested the oil is used in food manufacturing processes.  The used oil is then recycled and processed to become Biodiesel for use in road vehicles that emit CO2 - thus completing the cycle..

Approximately half the carbon emissions are being produced by businesses and so it is essential for every Company to look and see how “green” they are and how they can become more environmentally friendly.  Many businesses and Local Authorities are looking at the issues surrounding the fuels they use to power their vehicles and are choosing to use Biodiesel as many place great emphasis on creating a healthier environment.
